Hi guys!
Je me presente:
I'm Marco and i'm from Ancona, Italy. J'ai etudiè seulement en peu de francais a l'ecole ...donc vous me devez excuser si je vais d'ecrire in englais...
In this very moment in my tanks there're: Macropodus Spechti (all males - sigh - trio) in a plastic 130l tank in my balcony, two males of Betta unimaculata "Mahakam" (one from Abdul Sahal and the other from Hermanus Haryanto)...the one and only female died jumping out the tank during the night, but before she jumped out i had two breeding success, so now i've 60+ Betta fries in two other tank
I also trying to breed a couple of Ivanacara adoketa in 200l tank, and i regulary breed a couple of Apistogramma Trifasciata Rio Guaporè in 50l tank

I hope to enjoy this forum and learning a lot about Betta from you guys....and i hope to be welcome although i'm not from france neither i can speak french...

It been a while since last time i've been here...i have to apologize

During last year in Italy we have been working on breeding wild form Bettas and now we can be proud having discrete colonies of:

Betta unimaculata "Mahakam"
Betta schalleri
Betta macrostoma
Betta channoides
Betta albimarginata
Betta smaragdina
Betta splendens wild
Betta sp. "Mahachai"
Betta rutilans

Now i'm trying to breed a couple of Betta foerschi "Babugus, Central Kalimantan" and a pair of Betta strohi "Pangkalanbun".
Meantime i've drop a little with cichlids, due to lack of time, but i hope to fix this as soon as possible
